I've thought of this all afternoon.
I'm going 90mph in a nowhere direction, and I'm about to lose my mind. It's dark, it's cold, it's stormy, it's windy, and the wind is pushing me to do what's easy, make the wrong decisions, and turn the car south, where the weather looks like it's clearing, but I know that it'll get worse, because south leads straight into hell. I'm reading the map, I know to go north, to heaven and beyond, but the storm looks scary, even though I know it will be clear on the other side, and I'll finally see another rainbow, and the sky will be blue again.
I must go north. I have to. I can't stay in this nothingness, in this nowhere direction forever.

Love the analogy. Really, it's brilliant. *hugs*
